Our PE days are Wednesday and Friday- you will need to be in your PE kit on both these days.

On Thursday afternoons Miss Moon has her PPA so Mrs Hicks will be teaching us. 

On this page you will find key information that you might need. Owl's homework will be set via Dojo on a Friday. All the children have been given their login details for TTRS and are at the back of their reading records.  As well as daily reading at home please can you encourage your child to complete some TTRS.

Autumn Term

This term, we’ll be travelling back in time to explore the fascinating world of the Stone Age, learning about how people lived, hunted and created tools. In Maths, we’ll focus on place value, reading, writing and representing numbers, comparing and ordering numbers, finding numbers on number lines, and understanding the value of each digit. In English, we’ll begin with a narrative unit based on a very famous bear, developing our storytelling skills through character description, setting, vocabulary, dialogue and exciting plot ideas. Our Art work will take inspiration from cave paintings, while in RE we’ll discover key beliefs, stories and traditions within Hinduism. In French, we’ll learn the names of different instruments and build our confidence using new vocabulary. It’s going to be a busy and exciting term!

We’ll also be completing regular MTC (Multiplication Tables Check) practice, which will help your child to improve their speed, accuracy and confidence with their times tables. Times tables are a big focus in Years 3 and 4, so regular practice will help your child to become quicker and more confident when solving multiplication and division problems.
