Autumn 2026
Throughout the Autumn term in Herons we will be learning about Victorian children in History, looking at where we are in the world in Geography and we are looking at animals including humans in Science. In English we are working on writing narratives based on 'Harry the Mouse' and we will be building a solid foundation in number sense and place value in Maths. In Music we will be covering rythm and pitch and in PE we will be focussing on developing our fundamental movement skills. 

Weekly homework will be sent out on a Friday afternoon and will consist of the weekly spellings that follow the learning taken place that week. Reading should be done every night to improve fluency and we ask you to consistantly check understanding through questioning. We also ask that Numbots is being accessed at home. 

Our PE days in Herons are Tuesday and Thursday.
