Making and Building Rockets
We have been using junk materials to create rockets. The children used card to create wings and windows, tissue paper for flames and glue and tape to join the different pieces together.
We have also been building rockets using duplo.

Snow!
There was great excitement this afternoon when it started to snow. We went outside and some children tried to catch the snow in their mouths. It is a shame it wasn't sticking!!!!

Counting moon rocks!
We have been counting moon rocks and then matching the numeral to the quantity. We had to make sure we gave each moon rock a number and not rush ahead. Some recognised all the numbers 1-10 out of sequence.

The children really enjoyed investigating the frost and ice this morning. During their investigation they used words such as melting, cold, smooth, hard, freezing and glass to describe what they could see and feel.
