In Owls this week we have had a brilliant week all about books!
During the week, we have had ERICS time in the library, been reading buddies to children in Robins and shared topic books with a partner of choice.
On Thursday it was World Book Day. We had a brilliant morning with Mrs Cassiday guessing which stories our props were from and trying to find Wally.

My prop was a sword and shield from Beast Quest.

I brought in a saucepan to represent The Magic Faraway Tree. Nobody guessed it. I had lots of fun.

I brought a piece of toilet roll from Billionare Boy when Joes Dad worked for Bumfresh. I had lots of fun guessing what books other peoples objects were from.

I loved world book day!!! I found two Wally's !! You got a certificate if you find one and there was some sweets with it! I'm giving up sweets!!!! " OH NO OH NO!!!!!" I shouted. Apart from that I LOVED WORLD BOOK DAY !!! Xxxx

I brought a witch's cape and a tabby cat. My book was the Worst Witch. I love the stories. Mildred Hubble gets into so much trouble!

My prop was a jar full of water with a newt inside , it was from Matilda which is one my favourite stories ! I enjoyed guessing people's favourite book by looking at their props.
