We went to explore the space debris we found on our field. We tried to answer lots of questions to help us think about how it all got there. It made us all want to go and write about it!

Being a Police Officer
We were amazed to see all of the equipment that a police officer uses to do their important job! Do you think we would make good police officers one day?!

Exploring the Police Car!
We were really lucky to see Sergeant Whittaker's Patrol car. One lucky boy got to turn on the flashing blue lights and switch on the siren. It was very loud though!

Shape Rocket Pictures
Some of us have made lovely rockets with the 2D shapes! We are starting to use the names of trickier shapes such as hexagon and semi-circle.

We had great fun searching for examples of real life 3D shapes outside! It was amazing how many we could spot!

Visit by Mrs Ball, a midwife
Mrs Ball told the children all about her job as a midwife. They all listened beautifully! Some of our class have a new baby in the family (or two on their way!) so they enjoyed learning how to do things such as how to hold a baby carefully or how to bath it gently.

Fire Fighter Visit
The children all enjoyed a visit from Mr Ball to tell them all about his job as a fireman. They listened very carefully to why he wears special equipment to help him do his job. Some of us were even able to try some on!
