Plastic Pollution Talk

We were very lucky to have a visit from Mrs Haigh today. She works for the Environment Agency and she told us all about her job looking after the rivers and seas. She told us about the only things that should be flushed down the toilet - the three P's. I am sure that the children will remember this part of the talk!! She also told us why plastics are bad for the environment and what we can do at home and when out and about to help with this problem. The children sat and listened beautifully and enjoyed asking some questions too. Thank you very much Mrs Haigh.
