In gymnastics this week, we have been learning how to create counter balances in a pair and then created them in a group. We will be using these in the sequences we create.

Who did you work with? What did you find challenging? What did you learn?

I enjoyed our gymnastics lesson this week when we made counter balances in groups. We worked well as a team and experimented with everyone's ideas.

I wasn't here but I hope you all had a good time. :)

Josh   20 January 2019

I worked with Kieron, Kaydon and Mathew. I found how to join the partner balances into group balances. I leant that partner balances can turn into group balances.

Cara    21 January 2019

I was working with Poppy in partners and in groups with Robyn. Some of the things I found challenging was how to fit 3 of us in one counter balance making sure we're all together.

Mia Angel Hanmore   21 January 2019

i found it challenging that we had 6 people in are group so it was quite hard to do a group balance
I worked with Sam, Jake, George O, Leo, and Thomas

Kayden edwards   21 January 2019

I worked with Kieron , josh, and Matthew and I found putting 4 people in a counter and tension balance and I learnt that you hold the wrists not the hand because you could cause serious injuries

Sam Rule   21 January 2019

I worked with Mia , George O , Jake , Thomas and Leo. It was hard doing a group counter balance and counter tention because there were 6 people in our group. I learnt about a counter balance and a counter tention.

I really enjoyed the gymnastics lesson. I am really quite terrible at gymnastics but this lesson pushed my limits and I found an area of gymnastics I find energetic, simple and fun. I was working with Eleanor, Sophie and Nat to create a counter balance ourselves which could be formed with more than two people. We successfully made and formed a kind of double counter balance. I was on the floor and Eleanor leaned on me and Sophie did the same on Nat. Nat and I held each others wrist though we were facing different ways and Eleanor and Sophie held wrists too. This lesson was one of my favourites because we worked in a team and we had fun. :)

Thomas   21 January 2019

i enjoyed doing counter balances in groups. My favourite was the one where we grab on to someone's knees and raising one of our legs

Fin   22 January 2019

Robs :P (Robyn)   22 January 2019

I really enjoyed gymnastics. I was with Poppy and Cara and they're awesome at it! It was a little bit challenging with the things that had alot of trust in the, but it was super fun! This week, i was with Thomas, Leon, Cara and I! We were doing balences with equipment and it was tricky because there was a limeted amount of place! <3

I worked with Darcey,Ellie and Olivia S,I didn't find anything challenging and I learned that count of balance is where u balance and count of tension is where u tense.

Eleanor   28 January 2019
