On Friday 21st October 2016, Owls opened the hall doors for their grown up visitiors. They showed their visitors a typical PE lesson.

Firstly, the Owls began by warming up which the visitiors also took part in and the Owls thought they all warmed up very well.

They then showed their visitors a range of skills. These included balances, rolls, jumps and travels.

Next, the Owls showed their visitors how they linked their skills into a sequence. They created their sequences in small groups and worked together very well.

After a few practices the Owls took it in turns to perform their sequences to all of the class and their visitors. The grown ups had to share what skills they could identify the children performing. They did very well at this.

Finally, we cooled our bodies down.

Owls would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of the visitors who took part and came to watch. The Owls and I had a FANTASTIC AFTERNOON!!

What skills did you perform and identify? Whose seqeunce did you like the best? What did you like most about Open Afternoon?

What did your visitors think?

I was in a group with dexter and fin ,we performed lots of different skills like the broad jump , the crab ,teddy bear roll, the caterpillar and our starting and ending position was a capital T . I liked Bertie,Sam and Lewis's group sequence because they were all in time . Mostly I enjoyed cooling our bodies down and showing my mum and little brother our sequence.
