Kestrels Italian Eating

On Thursday we held our eat like an Italian afternoon. 

The children become chefs to try their hand at cooking and show off their culinary skills. 

Delightful dishes of Caprese Salad and Tomato Bruschetta were created and tasted by the children. 

We then finished off with a sample of Pizza from Domino's Pizza - which we bought with the money we raised during our enterprise project at the Christmas Markets. 

Today was also a special day becuause it was Mrs Harding's last day in school before she goes off to have her baby. We wish her well and look forward to meeting her new arrival soon.

I enjoyed comparing modern day Italian food with the food we tried on "eat like a Roman day". I preferred modern day Italian food because of the pizza (yummy)!

I enjoyed Italian day because I liked to learn what food Italian people eat and I was super excited because they eat pizza which is my favourite! I tired the Basil it tasted like grass! Yuk!!!!
