The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark!
In Robins we have finished our class novel, 'The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark' by Jill Tomlinson.
We have really enjoyed reading the story and listening to the adventures of Plop the owl.
What was your favourite part of the story? Which character did you like the most? Which character did you like the least? Why?
How did you feel when Plop went out hunting with his parents?
Our new class novel is Avocado Baby.
We are looking forward to our next novel time!

I liked Plop the most because he was so cute! The dad was a little bit mean.

I enjoyed this book because at the start his mum and dad kept saying go to him, go to her, go to the cat so that they could talk to him about the dark. And at the end he liked the dark. My favourite character was Plop because he kept flying back to his mum and dad because he didn't like the dark and I don't like the dark either. His dad was nasty and his mum was kind.
