Another fantastic week in Robins!

This week we have finished our traditional tale topic in Literacy with the children writing their own tale. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of the tales, the Robins have thought of some very imaginative ideas!

Also this week we have enjoyed looking at our baby photographs as part of our family album topic. Thank you to everyone for bringing your photographs into school. We really enjoyed looking at the photographs and guessing who was who. We also talked about how we have changed and it was lovely to see the children sharing their photos with each other!

In science this week we have been looking at waterproof materials. We looked at different objects and sorted them into water proof and not waterproof. Can you find anything at home that is waterproof?

What was your favourite activity this week?

Have a great weekend Robins, see you on Monday!

My favourite activity was blue to do's, because you get your fingers working. I also liked waterproof and not waterproof.

I loved looking at the baby photographs. They were cute.

I liked looking at the baby photos and guessing who was who. I thought it was easy spotting my friends but I didn't recognise myself!

My favourite topic in school this week was making up our own stories. Mummy and daddy loved listening to mine when I retold it. They said writing our own stories was right up my street!! ;-)
I really enjoyed trying to guess who was who from the baby photographs. I didn't get any right and I didn't even know that the last one was mine!!!! That's funny!

My favourite story was the wolf and 7 kids because the wolf put dough on his foot and pretended to be a goat. I also really liked the three little frogs.

I liked seeing the baby pictures and I guessed my photo correctly. It was fun to be asked to stand up when Miss Clarkson showed my photo. I also loved making my family tree with all the photos on it! I also love phonics aerobics.

I liked thinking who was who on the baby photos and enjoyed adding in 2s and 10s. I loved telling my story to mummy and doing my family tree.
