Letters from a famous author

Today the children received a letter from Janet and Allan Ahlberg, authors of 'The Jolly Postman'. We children were exctied and thrilled to open their letters, read them and discuss what a letter is and its features. 

We will be reading The Jolly Postman this week and the children will be building up to writing their own letters.
